The middle school parents’ meeting for the Lakeside baseball program will be on Tuesday, November 17 at 7:00. This will be a virtual Zoom call so please contact LakesideDugoutClub@gmail.com with your player’s name, grade, and school (and any questions) so that you can be added to the distribution list and receive the meeting details. In addition, the middle school tryouts will be on Sunday, January 10 and Sunday, January 17 from 1:00 – 3:00 at Lakeside. All players should plan to attend both tryouts. Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student who plans to attend Lakeside High School is welcome to attend. Also, please send this note to anyone that you think might be interested. Go Vikings!
In order to participate in any Lakeside baseball activities, your player will need to complete their physical and have it on record with Dragonfly. Alternatively, your player can bring paper copies of their physicals and hand to Coach Granger prior to their first workout. Information and instructions on using Dragonfly can be found here.
The Vikings baseball teams had a great Fall season with the Lollar team winning the DSB Fall league championship and the Brosnan team placing as Finalists in their division. Both teams played solid fundamental baseball and gained invaluable game reps heading into the winter.
A special thank you to Coach Stefan Lollar, Coach Joey Brosnan, and Coach Mike Reid for their dedication and investment in the Lakeside baseball program. We appreciate all of your efforts!!
Also, thank you to all parents/fans that captured the action at the games….and uploaded at #lakesidevikingsbaseball.
Congratulations again on a great Fall season….Go Vikings!!

Your son must have a completed physical in order to participate in baseball activities (beginning with our first session on Nov. 5). You can find the physical form on our website here.
There is a new required way to submit your physicals online. Please follow these instructions:
Lakeside is now using Dragonfly Max to have all student medical forms and athlete info online and in one place. It is now required that parents create an account and complete this process. This new system makes it easier on coaches so they don’t have to keep up with physicals and makes the transfer of info from one sport to another MUCH smoother! This means each of us needs to log on to DragonFly Max, create an account and add your player’s info. If you need to provide a physical due to either being new or your physical is expired/soon to expire, upload it to DragonFly instead of turning it in to a coach. You can simply take a photo of the physical form; it’s very easy. If you already have a valid physical on file with the school and you have a copy of the physical at home, please upload it to DragonFly. If you don’t have a copy, I’m told the athletics department will work to upload the ones they already have on file.

Our school code is YPDBBB
Thank you all for your compliance with this process!
