Years at Lakeside: I taught History at Lakeside from 1999 until my retirement in 2016. I have been serving as a substitute teacher at Lakeside from 2017 to the present school year, and I am rejoined the baseball program in the 2022 season.

Years Coaching: 2024 will be my 35th year of coaching high school baseball.

Personal Bio: I have been married to Meg for 33 years, and we have two children who are both graduates of Lakeside High. Kyle recently completed his service in the US Army and Tatum is a Child Life Specialist at Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin, Texas.

Baseball Philosophy: Baseball, like other team sports, helps prepare young people for life.
